After serving the Thompson Chapel Baptist Church family for twenty-five years (since September 1999), Bro. Johnny Garrett, and his wife Karen have retired from the pastorate. Bro. Johnny was called by God and preached the Gospel for over 45 years. He has pastored churches in Louisiana, and Ohio, as well as here at Thompson Chapel. He preached and taught the Word of God with love and conviction. He is available to preach revivals, or to fill the pulpit as needed. Since retiring, Bro. Johnny and Karen are enjoying camping and traveling.

Our family ministers to people at the point of their need in order to help them toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Every member is a minister in their home, community and market place.
